The Alliance Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Initiative

Alliance is committed to increasing diversity and providing culturally responsive programs and services to our intellectual and developmental disability (IDD) community. To that end, Alliance is launching an Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) initiative intending to create an adaptable template of policies and practices that can be shared with our members and the IDD community. Alliance will partner with ANCOR, as they work to build their Diversity, Equity, and Engagement (DEE) plan at the national level.

Alliance is committed to creating an inclusive, diverse, equitable, and accessible environment that is culturally responsive where all members of our organization are supporting behavior that enriches our community and strive to identify and name systemic racism and other forms of discrimination.
