The Center for Dignity in Healthcare for People with Disabilities created a fact sheet regarding the rights of people with disabilities during the COVID crisis, intended to inform health care professionals. It is based on information from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Civil Rights. Providers can share this fact sheet with health care professionals when a person they serve is seeking care to help ensure fair treatment. In addition, providers may wish to use or adapt this health passport tool created by the Ohio Association of County Boards of DD to assist health care professionals with supporting individuals with IDD.
